It sounds trite, but's very true in a business like ours: Safety comes first. It's at the core of our culture at Abernathy Construction. All of our employees – from the office to the field – are accountable. We have a safety program in place for every phase of every project – to protect our employees, our subcontractors and the public. Awareness, communication and attention to performance on a daily basis are the keys to maintaining a safe environment. We make sure to constantly re-evaluate conditions at our work sites and adjust as needed to make sure we address any issues that might affect safety.
